A Place For Those Who Love To Dance!

TLS Dance Studios is located in Cockburn Central, Perth, Western Australia. Our dance school offers ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary and lyrical dance lessons.

Starting from three years of age Fundance classes through to adult classes, we cater for all ages and capabilities. As a school we are ready to take on the new year and keep the love and excitement of dance alive!

Each year we take part in dance exams using the Royal Academy of Dance syllabus. We do yearly performances and we are looking forward to moving into more new and exciting challenges!

Tahnee Smith - Principal

I first started dancing at Alliance Dance Company in Port Hedland before moving to Perth where I found myself dancing at Sherylyn Fimmel School of Dance and I never really looked back. I grew up doing RAD Exams before becoming a RAD Qualified teacher.

Dancing has always been my passion and now I’m extremely lucky to get to do what I love everyday as my job. Now all I want to do is share the love and excitement that dance brings with everyone I can. I pride myself on creating a space where everyone feels welcome and has a chance to dance because there is nothing better to do than dance!

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide high quality dance teaching services with a community atmosphere. All of our teachers are fully qualified with the RAD (Royal Academy of Dance) and are working with children accredited. It’s important to us at TLS Dance Studios that we continue encouraging anyone to try dance! Everyone is welcome to have a go and see if they love dance as much as we do.

Every time one of our students leave their class we want them to have had fun, feel confident and happy and most importantly be excited and ready for class the next week! Dancing can be an amazing place to create memories and friendships, as well as a place to nurture and inspire a child’s love for dance. The skills and lessons it teaches you really do stick with you forever.
